Count me in

I have talked to MikeL and he knows I want one. I believe you have done a great job of designing the brace. I'm about to rebuild my transmission for reliaibiltiy and a occasional foot stomp and would like to support it from the get go. I have thought of building my own to save some money, until I saw this new brace from You and Mike. Thanks:happy2:

Under a big a$$ rock...
I love the idea of adding more strength to that area! I have a long set of trac bars on the back of my truck that has 100% removed axle wrap and has now moved all that stress into the driveline and adding some strength would help me sleep at night!!

Very nice work guys! I am always impressed with what you bring to the table!!!

Please help me out, why do we need one of these braces? I totally agree they look great, but at what RWH? Drag racing or pulling? Thanks in advance.

Originaly the idea on the brace was to keep the extension housing from breaking back about 4 or 5 years ago which was happening. The idea failed as was learned, bad u joints were the culprit and the brace did not save the housing. After that I wondered what the brace was good for and did not push any sales when asked " should I install one "
A year and a half ago McRat shattered his TC while making a pass down the strip which left the TC in a lot of pieces. To my suprise very little of it fell to the ground which might have cause broken pieces to get caught under the rear tires at high speed. The brace kept the broken TC suspended. I was sold on the idea after that and highly recommend them to anyone racing.
I wanted my own brace and I wanted it perfect. I am not a welder or a metal fabricator and talked to Paul who is. He agreed to do it. He designed it and I like what he did.:cool2: We will do more projects together in the near future.

Although I do belive they help stiffen things up what Mike posted is what I feel is the most important thing it can do.

So for the average streeter it is not a true gotta have?

Parts looks awesome!

Thats up to you, I'm not going to push products and make promices that no one honestly can. IMO it stiffens things up, and like Mike said it could be a great saftey feature. If you blow a back tire out it doesn't really matter if you are on the track or street. Personaly I push my rides harder on the street than at the track....kind of tough to beat something for minutes on end at the track......

The unit looks great! I'd also like to know what the advantage is. Is it necessary for the average street diesel w/ a 100 HP tune?
