Its not a huge weight savings but why not, not to mention when shipping bulk its saves on cost and in the end it gets passed on to the customer.

Is the difference in materials cost taken into account when this was figured?

With the savings of MS over CM, would shaving 1lb off a part really make a difference to the consumer's price?

Maybe not much but when shipping 10 of them it saves 10 lbs, then it saves a pound the next time it gets shipped and then it saves a pound on the truck. I come fram a gasser drag racing and dirt track background where people are always searching for that last pound. Not that big of a deal on a 6000-7000 lbs truck, but the point remains it makes it lighter...prob not a major selling point but fact none the less.:)

I recieved the brace today. Weight is 1 pound. Suncoast brace is 5 lb. Picture do not do this justice. :happy2:
