Sorry Mike, I was going to stop by when I was down but I was on a tight schedule for school finals.

Dan thinks the truck may have a cracked flexplate so it's heading to your place afterwards to drop trans, flush, c3 oiler and insPection. Also talk about the 1057 in there right now.

I think the problem was just Russ's crappy wiring - 4 gauge from the OEM wiring to a single battery mounted far back on the pass side rail - the guys just thought it wasnt enough wire for what was needed. Theyre relocating the battery and running heavy duty cable. They powered the starter directly and it started, so its just wiring.

Im not sure about the flexplate - it was fine when Jason and I dealt with it - Dan said he heard it a tick and that was the first thing that comes to mind. Gonna check it out later.

I have bigger wire than that going to my amp LOL!!
I would have run -00 at least!

Glad to hear it's going to be up and running soon!

I like the "Far back" comment. The battery was located in a military mount BETWEEN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR'S, inside the frame, as far foward as possible (Red to correct your "Far back on the pass rail" comment in post #825). The cable used is the same size (#2) and same exact crimps used in all the MPI kit's, that dont have any issue. I have placed 6 in the exact same place. There was only a single battery because you wanted to save weight. Hurry up and get that thing on a track, we have all been waiting to see what she can do!

PS: Nick (Paint) send your E-mail's asking questions about people, directly to the person in question, you might get a better response. If you need a copy of the mail im refering to, I can post it for you... Or did your buddy put you up to it:baby:?

Nick just because you can't even install an Edge Juice with attitude by yourself doesn't mean you have to bag on someone else. Even the best in the world screw up. Oh wait I forgot you know everything and are the best keyboard mechanic in the world.:thumb:

LMFAO- And you being a such a great friend to Matt (the one you could not stand, while I had his truck here. And would rag about how much of a "Rich Little Punk" he was) know both sides of the story huh... So how did I screw anybody over, you know all the facts right??? Your only on here to stir sh!t up, it's cool it keeps the net interesting. If we didnt have crybabies like you on here, the net would be pretty boring lol. If there is an issue extending the stock wiring 6' with the wiring I used (Wich has been done numerous times without problems) Im at fault. If the LMM's cannot run on one batt, with the stock wiring re routed to the single batt (like other models), im at fault...

loose converter bolts maybe? Ive had that issue:mad:

whats a Iran LMM:confused::D

I have one battery and it sits in the bed by the tailgate ( well did when i had a bed ) 1 awg line and it never had issues.

1 awg is probably overkill but atleast it starts :D

haha sorry I meant I take it an LMM can not rub on one battery. Can anyone verify that?
