I guess that's comforting.

there was never a time in my life I thought that looked good. maybe a generational thing?

I have seen that all over the country as well. It is a generational thing but in some area's its a "cultural" thing...

The funny part is, these types of individuals will spend more money on a truck and those types of rims and tires But they are stingy when it comes to repairs.

In their mind, they just have to look good/cool or whatever term they use.
My son(27 going on 14) isn't into having a fancy car. He has a 2019 Honda Civic. He just wants good gas mileage because he drives all over the place. How ever for the repairs/service, he's the cheapest son-bitch around.

Theres one CC/LB running around here thats painted purple, with garish purple wheels with stretched tires and even has purple underbody lights. 8 inch lift kit. Was proud as all hell of it last year at the Cruise-In. Completely stock LMM drivetrain.

To each his own I guess.

Guess I get to start playing this game in this thread lol

06 lbz came in for alternator codes, turbo codes, wts and mil not illuminated codes and service 4wd.

Found ignition wouldn’t turn off on “ACC” and scanner still showed “RUN” when on ACC. Also, ECM was still getting power some how

Dug deeper into the wiring I saw under the dash and omg

I don’t know how it didn’t burn down. That wire in the fuse was back feeding 12v battery power in from the radio. We decided to pull the head unit out… bad idea

Kinda. I’ll be running this shop (kinda already at) so I get to go out and play in vehicles or see the debachery . I’m more service avisor at the moment to learn the system up front and how we can tweak things to run better.

In other news, 36k on the 2020 and the serpentine belt blew apart on my way into silverton. I got lucky as hell where it decided to blow on the mountain pass 6 miles from Silverton. 0 indication of it going bad, looked at all this before I left, all the pulleys are tight and spin like new, tensioner is in great shape. I’m at a complete loss why it blew apart other than it was just a bad belt??? It was the original. Spent 3 hours going back to Durango, calling stores to find a belt, no one had one so got creative and decided to try a 1” longer belt. Tensioner had enough wiggle room it worked but when everything let go, it took out the fan clutch wiring and damn near cut through my intercooler tube.

I’ll be calling around Monday but really all I want is a stock belt. We can sleeve the rubber boot and double hose clamp it. For the clutch, I’ll just pull it and drill/bolt it so it’s fully locked up till I get back.

The main fan belt is just fine. Fuckin weird.

So, today I was putting away some goods we received and ran across this. How are they fitting the same amount of large gloves into a smaller box then the small gloves? They must be getting thinner. WTF!
