My filter looked like that when I changed it. Not sure if I was too hard on it (extra weight) or if there was stuff left over from stock trans failure.

Wasn't near the metal, but it had quite a bit of clutch material on it.

From a local shop, just wouldn't run after they replaced injectors and installed the lift pump.

I had a guy bring a tuck in said the brakes didnt work and came in stopping with the park brake. Pulled a wheel off and the pads wore clear through the metal backing plate and kept going until the pistons came out of the caliper. He said it started making noise a month before.

The cp4 does pretty good in Europe hehe. At least whatever version vdub uses.

Would love to see two run side by side on real fuel vs our fuel and see if that is indeed the main culprit or an excuse

But the CP3 failures are minuscule in comparison. So who cares if fuel is the reason for the failures. The CP4 is not up to the task it was given. Period.

I think the diesel fuel in Europe is more refined than what we have here. I know the company I work for has done ULSD (ultra low sulfur diesel) upgrades globally in refineries. Also, Europe is ahead of America in the clean emissions stuff.
