Dam that's still impressive! My truck was definitely down on power with my weak cp3. My 12.86 was at 6800lbs. If I can be a good 11.99 or 12 I'll be happy lol. How many miles on your cp3? I'm surprised to see it still holding rail on 100%s

284,000. Dustin turned down rail to like 21000 or 22000. My 1/8 Mile times puts me in the 11s. Waiting on my updated tunes now.

Nice man. Well I'm excited to get this thing down into high 11s low 12s.

Those are them

Ya you can set warnings lights and you can recall your max boost after your run. Helps a ton for tuning if it wasn't for that I would of never known at the end of the track I was starting to push my turbo to hard.

Yeah that would be nice. Was looking into the edge boost sensor but would rather have a gauge with max boost.

Ok, im wanting to finish getting everything i need. Do i just need 8 orings and coppers for the injectors? How about clips for lines or anything like that? Do i need a special injector puller?

How about cp3? Anything special needed there? Is it a good idea just to delete factory filter head and run 1/2 line straight to cp3?

Im confident in turbo swap, already done that once.

Washer and o ring kit from merchant is a great insurance. I won't reinstall injectors without it.

Would be a good time to run a direct feed to the cp3 also

I bought a whole kit from Henry when I did my injectors. I also grabbed my shotgun cleaning kit for the bores :)

As for what do you need for the CP3 - are you running the stock y-bridge? I had to buy two new orings. I also had (and still) to chase many coolant leaks after the fact. I have some notes, I should make a post with them and part numbers and such this weekend.

I'm not a fan of deleting the factory filter head on a DD. At your power level it's not a problem.

My hsp kit is coming with a new high flow y bridge so no won't be stock y bridge anymore

Ok. My biggest problem with leaks were the coolant hoses left and right of the turbo leaking. The driver's side I just replaced with 3/8" silicone hose, but the pass side is short and has a bend (I removed my EGR cooler years ago), so I went to Advance Auto and picked through their pre-bent 1/2" hoses.

Well I got the turbo and all piping out last night. I'm hoping hsp gets my kit out Monday or Tuesday so I can finish it all up next weekend. When I talked to them on the phone they said 1-2 days and I placed order on Wednesday.

I placed my new tune order with ppei. That should be here one of these days and injectors will be here Monday. Only thing left is a boost gauge. What kind of boost numbers will I make? I'd prefer a 0-60 gauge but don't want to be pegging it.

I hope you have better luck with your set up then I'm having. I'm running the same as you but on stock sticks, 63k on motor, 2700 pulse width, 27 degrees of timing, 42 lbs of boost, and only 584 hp and 1018 trq. Can't figure out why it's not making more.

Got any 1/4 trap speed and weight? Also 2700us is not real high. That's much safer than the 3300uS I was running. I would be happy with 584 on 2700uS. Dyno could be reading low or high too.

Stock injectors right? That can't be too far out of line, considering it takes 3000us to make 500-550 hp with the stock Turbo
