I have a twin truck lb7 with a S366/74 TCT over a S480TCT with the 96 turbine and vband stainless turbine housing. Truck drives great and runs better. I have had two different triple kits and have a new setup for my race truck. The old setups started with a s371/74 over two S366 chargers. That kit was easily over a thousand hp. The only reaI issue with that kit was it was built properly and couldn’t seal up everything. I then upgraded with a S472 TCT over the S366 TCT and was definitely better with power and efficiency. My new kit is a S476NLX with a 96 turbine over two S468TCT with the 87 turbines and stainless vband housings. After my first kit I started using blow off valves and all my kits have been waste gated. I also make sure all connections are either vband or vanjen clamped and turbine sides have receiver grooves at the connections to seal it up. Leaks will be your worst problem if you don’t spend the time and money to address those connections. It is important to gate for tuning purposes. Most guys don’t look at it in that way so they seem to cheap out and can never see the kits potentials.
