I want to hear more about these gamma-ti turbine wheels.

they are the latest and greatest low inertia wheel made from a titanium aluminum alloy that gets stiffer as it gets hot
used in lml turbo as well as efr from borq warner
they are awesome fast in spoolup and spin real fast too
good balance is key or they will fly apart
you want me to post a big article??

Yes, I searched google and couldn't find anything mentioned for any Garrett turbos, but I found lots of info on Borg turbos.

Turbine Wheel
The most exciting technology in the EFR package is the turbine wheel
material. EFR turbine wheels are made from titanium aluminide. It’s
not the first time this material has been used, but it’s the first time that
it has been offered to the public across a range of size options.
Titanium aluminide (or Gamma-Ti, for short) is a strange compound.
One of those nice examples of the result being greater than the sum of
the parts; this compound has temperature capability far in excess of
aluminum and titanium as individual elements. Very difficult to cast,
this compound is actually an inter-metallic which means that it’s not
quite ceramic and not quite metal. One major delivery of this project
has been to commercialize this material to be able to introduce it at an
acceptable price point. The technical advantage is very simple: low
inertia. Since Gamma-Ti has roughly one-half the weight of a typical
turbine wheel, the reduction in inertia is substantial especially on the
larger wheel sizes such as 64mm and above. The turbine wheel is so
light, it is very nearly the same weight as the compressor wheel that is
on the other end of the shaft. When you feel one of these parts in your
hand, it’s hard to believe it’s a turbine wheel. Then you drive the car
and you feel what’s been accomplished. When paired with the ball
bearing system, it yields a turbocharger that has no rivals in terms of
boost response.

Also, maybe this is a dumb question, but why would you post pictures of a stock turbo in an auction selling modified turbos? Even if the picture isn't the exact turbo, I would think you would at least post a picture of a representative product.

That's Borg stuff. I want to read about Garrett gamma-ti turbine wheels.

It is just an advertisement allot of times people call the shop and come by and have a cheetah installed buy new etc
ebay gets allot of reach
the liquidator knows to forward contact
we also get allot of tire kickers unfortunately
the pics is just a stock turbo, but some of the other pics are really nice if you look
basically we don't want anyone to be let down and we are sure we can make any turbo look at least as decent as the one in the pic:eek:

I guess I'm supposed to take your word for it? Surely this high tech material would warrant some sort of press release by Garrett. I would think they would be advertising it's use. Forgive me for doubting you.

josh I can't find any documentation either as far as garrett
I will keep looking but I am sure you are a much better detective than I so I doubt I can find anything
If you take each one apart it will be obvious
lml is no longer inconel the turbine is lighter than compressor

Well, my ' retard' buddy's and I will just buy better stuff if you are selling junk that we don't want for our trucks.
As a business person, fix the problem instead of making excuses.
I asked a simple question and thought I would get a better answer than that I was stupid.
Add to that but to call my friends what you did speaks volumes about you.
If you we're having a bad day, oh well.
In the business world, you get slammed for having a bad day as the seller. All it takes is one person to say you had a bad day with them.
Now, to keep calling me an idiot is making no sense at all. Keep putting your foot in your mouth.

So the LML turbine wheel is what you are using in those turbos? Where did you get such a large stock pile of stock LML turbos? I doubt there have been that many people swapping out their turbos on their new trucks.

Ok you are just a very uneducated poorly articulated fellow that wants a turbo he can't afford and is now crying because you did not get it
meanwhile the ebay items and website are getting tons of traffic and the cash drawer is ringing

just sold one to a guy in texas last week
gt37 10 vane turbine in lly housing, 68mmx94mm cast wheel, and a diamond eye dp to make it work
u gotta turn off the intake air sensor that is stock in lml compressor housing or it throws a code

I have honestly never heard more doubletalk and plain old BS on this site, not even from Wade, until I read the posts from jkholder in this thread.
