Also forgot to update , after shipping and everything to my door the total cost was 538.00 , so with out the removable bar feature it would be right around 490-500. with it being pre notched and coming with the outriggers to weld to the frameand everything it is a pretty good deal IMOP . no lets just hope it fits the truck OK .

What does the swing out door bar hardware look like?

Just a few simpe weld in brackets , bolt , weld in sleaves , and a pull pin . I saw the "finished " picture of the setup in the cataloge , simple but seems to work just fine . I have saw better setups , like the one Charlie used on Dimitris roll bar but it seems like it will work just fine . here is a link with a small picture of just the parts .

Looks good Trent, take lots of pictures of the install. Much cheaper than a custom one if it does the job, that's for sure. One thing on Dimitri's and mine I think would have been better, is the take off side bars on the driver and passenger side I think would have been a little cleaner is if the post down by your left foot where the side bar pins in would have been straight and the side bar angled at the end to fit it instead of the other way around. Pretty good chance to bark a shin the way it is when you have the side bar out for street use.

Looking good Trent, seems everything is coming together nicely for you.

But since nobody else asked the really important question...I will.

What color are you getting the bars powdercoated?

 j/k guys

I would think some of not most of it will have to welded in place, doesn't make for a very tidy power coat job. Paint it but don't use flat paint, shows everything and not easy to clean.

Excatly Ken powedercoat is out of the question , I have enough left over paint from what i used on my frame last year to paint it , it is a charcol textered color .

Finally got it in the truck , fit was decent but bad news for street trucks is i doubt it would fit with rear door panels , mine were already off so it didnt matter much but to some it might . here are a few pics still have a few things to do but its pretty close . Also the rear bars dont have to go out the back panel , i just chose to do it that way and the middle bars on the main hoop that go to the hump are not nec either with out them it is still a 6 point bar .

Thanks  , need to get the 5 point in so i can get it inspected for tech . I just hope it it passes certification , the side bars that go along the seat were a bit shorter than what i see on most trucks, still waiting for my tech manual so i go check ? but not a big deal to make a few changes if i need too .
