Okay more updates. If the wheel is just slightly and I mean slighty turnes it will kill first. It will easyily kill 2nd and into 3rd driving on the street.

Now my truck has a huge 1093 problem. It now sets the CEL on(it used to not set the light, any reason why it started setting the light). I guess thats because it wont reseat?? I have a PPE race valve in hand though:D

I agree !

With my 325/60R18 Terra Grapplers there is no wheelspin....unless I do a boosted 2WD launch....but the few hundred miles I put on the truck so far
already show some significant tire wear....
well as soon as my shortened driveshaft is back in place I will put on the stock wheels and try to figure out what you guys are talking about!

Wow... my LLY spins through 1st and 2nd from a stop or a roll. This, however, is with the Hyperpac set on "3".

I refuse to set it back to "0" though I guess I'll have to as soon as the EFILive gets here Tuesday. :D

video x2.

I went out and tried again on Friday night to get this goal accomplished.

:( Still no tire spin until about 10 mph from a dead stop. Then the tires didn't stop spinning until about 50 (ground speed) when the tranny shifted into 5th.

Guess I neglected to mention that my truck has probably the wimpiest tire-set available (whatever the low-end stockers are).

If I get the chance to vid it I will but wouldn't that be illegal?

Besides, that's an awful lot like evidence... (I have teenage boys who know my ID :lildevil: )

Diesel Pilot, I would be interested to see what you are running. My tire spin stops around 3rd, however I do have some pretty meaty tires 315~34.5 inch.

If you dont mind I would like to take a look at it.

It isn't anything special, actually a de-tuned version of the MCR-105. I think the fuel shot is around 2800 ms. I have this tune on because the MCR-105 set's 1093's on my truck and I have yet to shim or lift pump it, those are to come shortly.

I think a big reason I can go through the gears is I have the stock 245's on for winter, not the 285/18's in my avatar. It's a good thing too, Weld's might be great wheels but only stock wheels can hold up to the amount of salt that has been on the road the past 2 weeks. I have to spray the underside of my truck every week, in a feeble attempt to keep it from rusting.
