Hey Steve what size sticks did he have I only have 30% from George. I know he said this kit should run faster then my single GT42 did knda like to see what it would do.

I believe he had 60% overs Henry. Not sure what you can really do with 30% overs. Depends on what kind of pressure your willing to run through them lol.

na i dont run preloaded on street, it makes it bouncey :(

Hmmm... I they way it rides with lots of preload, I watched a video of your truck run and it looked to me that you weren't running nearly enough preload. Maybe that's why you 60's were never that spectacular

Looked like fun while it lasted. If you want some good advise that will save you a ton of money, build it big and back it down about 20% and enjoy it. Gets old as hell breaking motors and trannies. A 1000 hp engine will not last very long if you run it that way all the time and sure as hell can't drive it on the street. You injectors are big enough as well. If you get much larger the restriction in stock injector bodies will not let them flow any more fuel anyway. Anyone who says they are running 200% over or whatever on stock injector bodies doesn't know what they are talking about. I'm not even sure my 100% over are flowing that much fuel at WOT. Rail pressure holds but who knows for sure what they are flowing without a bench test that can duplicate the actual performance in the engine? Good luck on your build. At minimum I'd put in a girdle on the bottom end, and stud everything that can be studded. That crank will walk if you don't. Good luck.

Is this truck still going to be street driven? I was under the impression that forged pistons will not last on a street driven truck for long. Im most likely wrong. Also does anyone know the price for a girdle and if the regular studs will work with the kit?

I think the jury is still out on forged pistons lasting a long time. I know some guys are running them on the street and some have a fair amount of miles on them. I don't have forged pistons in White Out. They were Mahle blanks and custom cut. So far so good. Just got back from a little crusing, nice day and last time I'll get to drive it in a while. Damn that is a hoot to drive on the road.:thumb:

MI, NC, now Hawaii
X2 on backing it down Ken. Even at the 800hp I want I know it won't last forever at that level. So a nice 650 tune for daily and have the bigger ones when I need em. Plus there aren't any roads long enough in hawaii I think to have run with the truck lol
