They are gas charged if they extend on their own. I ask because having a non gas charged shock mounted in the position you had them would make them not work at all

They don't have plain janes with this kit #. Either the ES9000 nitrogen or the MX-6 adjustable nitrogen are the options.

Once the kit was off I cleaned everything off with a Hotsy and packed them to ship! The leaf packs look like I'm shipping the back quarters of an Elk
X3 Boxes @ 125lbs per box
X2 Leaf packs @ 85 lbs per pack
$457 to ship from industrial to industrial

All those over-70s. No wonder it was so expensive...after you hit 70lbs the cost jumps exponentially.
Your UPS guy must've given you the "are you freaking serious?" look. Those arent coming to MidMichigan, are they? :hehe:

I sold the wheels to the local American Force dealer but yes they were heavy as hell with Toyo MT's.

It's funny because my usually UPS guy is a bald fella named Mike and he is hilarious and can talk s**t with the best of them and has been with UPS for 20+ years so he goes on vacation a lot and his relief girl is someone I KNEW (past tense) and hates me. I'm not saying I meant for this lift to be on her route but let's just say I was glad it wasn't Mike haha
Troy, MI. Don't drop it!

Those are gonna look good!

Tires came in today! I'm at a wedding though so no mount up today.....My friends matrimony is getting in the way of my project. I have been drove my I5 Colorado for 3 weeks and I'm over banging my elbow off the door when turning or having to dismount out of it like it's a small horse

These to pieces are honest to God the meat and taters of lowering this truck down. The rear diff mount and crossmember. The diff mount isn't easy to cut perfectly if you are salvaging the mount itself but it will work just fine. May even strap the weld but I'll make sure I get in depth when that part of this comes up because that reversal is the whole purpose of this thread. You want your measurements and beads on point.

This is what a differential ear looks like post lift kit. As you can see the Cognito mount doesn't lay perfectly flat on the housing surface

I stuff a pen cap over the differential vent to prevent contamination inside the housing from grinding the mounting surface smooth.
