I was thinking more along the lines of managing a trailer for a rail vs. Trailer for a truck. Damned practical details. ;)

Man.. Ben one day you are swingin' from my nuts and the next you're ragging on me..

Do you ovulate ? If so I'll just try to remember your cycle starting today. :thumb:

I have one complete 454 Race Block assembled ready to go and Sold ;)

The next is going in my project truck.. for which this thread is titled.

They are available, but I need a 4 week lead time for delivery and deposit up front. This isn't something that you stock on the shelf.. It's custom if you couldn't tell.

Remember the 454 uses a SoCal stroker kit. The big bore block is a 427 or 7.0L block.

With the SoCal stroker crank and max bore you possibly could have a 7.7 Liter or 472 CID Block.. but I haven't gone that far out with one yet. It's going to get thin, but the ductile iron sleeves are more stable than the stock wall and will hold roughly 10,000 psi cylinder pressure at the current bore size. I'd be comfortable thinning it out more for a drag motor or dedicated sled puller.

We're using SoCal Billet mains and our Laser Cut .750" girdle with custom ARP Studs.

Take a look at the sleeve's here and their thickness.

RCSB 2wd, tubbed and 4 linked with a fat set of slicks. Removeable doghouse/front clip for easy wrenching - fiberglass if possible. Twins with the occassional spray.

Or use the ZR2 body that will never get finished and make a pro street S-10.:D

Damn Brayden, you still have that ZR2, and it isn't finished? I was reading about that thing on a ZR2 forum years ago when you first started on it.

You said my LLY would never run again, but she's all converted over to LBZ and ready for the motor.. The good motor I got had to be machined :rofl::rofl: :)

The ZR2 is next.. Customers come first :)
