So I realized I have nearly 50,000 on my fluid in my SCIV  It has Transynd in it

I like synthetic fluid what about Mobil 1 ATF

or should I just go with some conventional
if so what conventional do you recommend

Stick with the TranSynd at this point.

The Allison filters are so cheap (relative to the "AC Delco" ones, which are Allison filters in an AC Delco box and sold for 250% profit) that you're stupid to NOT use them....

$8.36 fro my local ALLISON dealer. That is less than the parts stores get for there chinese knock-off.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen the magnet tossed. ...then again, it is an Allison.

one more question on the Mobil 1, if i swap to that as a synthetic, how will it mix with what is leftover in my torque converter?? or is there an easy way to drain the converter thru the pan? or does it completly stay searate?

Most high performance TC have a drain but the stock one does not.Regardless the cooler and lines retain fluid also. It's ok to mix or you can flush the entire transmission. Best choice, flush

Is there any of the 295 approved on Allisons site to stay away from? I'm about to change the OE fluid @ 100k in my 8.1 ton. We're a Pennzoil, ect. distributor so it'll have to come from there.

I'm testing some new Lucas fluid with a nontested TES 295 rating. Time will tell. So far IMHO the CITGO is better than anything I've seen.
