Good luck Tony and Ed. You guys will have to let me know when you go to Danville to dyno it this winter. I will make the trip down.

So what's the latest and greatest from Ohio???

It's cold.:joker:

Our exhaust guy is coming over this weekend to look at our new 4500 manifolds and get some measurements so we can order some smaller piping to use to build our new up-pipes. Turbo location stays the same.

It still has two broken CVs from the last hook labor day weekend.:D

Got some new stainless piping in a much smaller diameter for the up-pipes in last week (~1.7 ID). Going keep it under 2 inches since the pipes are so much longer going around the front of the engine to the remote mount turbo. Anyone see any issues with pipe this small? I'd rather my pipe be too small than too big . :D

Also got a second charger option I think we are going to do in place of the old school turbonetics. T-netics is very pricey on parts and we are still concerned of spooling issues when we change the cover for 2.6 ($900 for an exhaust housing that is the same part number as a garrett ). We got an S400 from a Mack here at work that Chase Fleece is looking at building us a custom 2.6 charger out of.

Sounds good ED. Glad you guys are making some progress. Do you think you'll have it ready for TS? And are you planning on pulling at TS?

It will be ready for TS. Not going to try for Eaton. Not worth it to rush for it and then sit for 2 months again.

Nothing wrong with a good biting track as long as the tractors don't tear it up too bad. What else is there to do in March? We just want to take our time and do it right this go round because we don't have the $ to do it again.

Maybe you're just scared of pulling in Ohio against remote mount turbo trucks with those crazy electric water pumps and non-conforming seats?

Truck is under new ownership. Importkilla bought his first house and needed to get out of it while he could. Some @sshole bought it. Oh yeah, that was me. I am going solo this year after buying out his half. Been selling some odds and ends to get the funding I need. Gotta support my family too with a 2 yr old and another on the way so it may be a slow go this year. Not the best time for me to go on my own but I don't see me trying this again anytime soon if this one doesn't go.

I had new piping built to replace the sewer pipe sized headers. The manifolds are ported 4500s that were cut and modded to be turned forward. The turbonetics is sitting in a box in the shop. I am replacing it with a custom S400 with some big help from the boys at Fleece. Thanks again to Brayden/Chase for the support. Need to redo some wiring and want to put in a new moroso switch panel to control everything.

Pulled the CVs finally and replaced them with one piece units.

I also gave the tires/wheels to my brother as part of the deal so I will be rocking some PYOs most likely.
