Just put a set of PPE compounds on a guys truck and was wondering if anyone else was running these turbos? Thoughts? What boost are you running? Horse power? Just looking to see where these things perform. Thanks

Well that depends on the turbos he is running... We need specs of the truck and the turbos.

I'm asking if anyone has these on there truck. Want to see how they like them. This is the GT4094R and GTR4508R kit. We're hitting 55psi of boost and making 812hp 1444tq. Just wondering if anyone is close, or more??

Yes it has a built bottomend. It fuel hard on the bottom, so bad you can't see through the exhaust, but once the turbos lite then it's just a light haze. We were thinking it has more in it. How big of injectors?? Or just leave it and play with tuning??

I'd go bigger injectors. 20% is not much bigger than stock. I'd go with around 100's if it's more of a street/daily driver.

There industrial injection 20%, which they say is 100hp, or 24lpm. Figured they might be to small. But still curious if anyone's ran a similar set up. The most we've got is 850hp and 1480tq. At 62psi now. Just seems like there's more.

Would changing the injectors really give it that much more? It seems laggy at first and smokes like crazy, rattles a bit, then cleans up on the top. Seems like we're over fueling hard on the bottom.

Sounds like the doode tuning it needs to do more work. If its that smokey and laggy down low sounds like he just added 50% to the whole pulse width table and called it good. 20% over injectors arent going to do the trick if your trying to get big numbers. What pulse width are you running on the big end?

Id go with at least 60 overs for your setup, but why not go with 100's and have room to grow. You can always tune around the larger injectors, but you cant tune around injectors that are too small. JMO

That rattle and lag is a tuning issue most likely. Id try a tune from a different tuner just to see what happens. Have you tested for boost leaks and what boost is each turbo making?

Obviously I'm not going to get into the tuning side of things here...

Besides that, your going to need bigger sticks if you want big numbers. With 20% and 850hp your goin to be running some good size pulse width. I ran 60% on a smaller turbo setup and with tuning smoke is quite managable. looking back wish I would have gone 100%. It's nice to have headroom. Personlly I wouldn't waste money on anything smaller then 60% for that setup

Who is tuning it? Also FYI my tuner went from 100% overs down to 30% over new industrial injectors and the 30% overs flowed more than his 100s and they cleaned up better. Bigger isn't always better

How is a 30% over going to flow more fuel than a 100% over injector when both are properly manufactured?

I'll see if I can check the pulse width tomorrow and get back to you guys. Thanks everyone for the input so far. I'll see what the guy wants to do for injectors. He might just leave it for now. But I'll definetly let him know.

There are no boost leaks, or anything. Everything checks out ok and is fresh. New everything.

A 30% over injector can't flow more than a 100% over injector. Of course if II did them who knows what they really flow in the first place. Now if the 100% overs weren't balanced or they were bad then they certainly would smoke a lot. It's true bigger isn't always best depending on the trucks use and goals, but it sure help's to be able to lower pulse width.

It's with industrials new type of injector, something different with the body's.
