stock sticks. looked it up. the injector numbers on the top of the injector need to be input into the ecm. im just going to turn the codes off with efi. they are all in the same cylinder i took them out of. i guess the computer just wants the info. dunno why

You need to program the injector flow rates. You can do that with the V2 by itself.

Coool. You know the proper break-in technique is to back out on the street and lay down about 100 yards of track right ..... :D ..... Bounce it off the limiter a few times, make sure it see's a nice variation of rpm.....

Hmm, sounds like the driver of a certain black truck I know...:D

but i did get it all nice and shiny clean today. even though it looks like it might rain tomorrow.... oh well, it made me feel good

my low oil light came on after 150 miles. barely reads on the dipstick. almost dont know if it is just tube residue. how many quarts low does it get before the oil light comes on?

Not sure how many low it takes. You're gonna burn a little though till your rings seat. Just keep an eye on it and add when necessary

I have yet to burn any oil.did you prime your motor or just dump 10qts in.I would say 2 almost 3 qts low to set low oil on.

Both Dury's I've owned use ~1/2 qt between changes. I would think that it would use a little more right after a fresh build  I know both my gasser motors did after I finished those. 427 sucked down 2 qts in 1000 miles before seating all the way. Then it used less that a 1/4 per oil change.

Yours dont use any at all.??

edit: as far as prime, will the oil channels, heads and pump hold that much fluid to cause it to be that low??

When you pime the Duramax, You fill the filter and pump around 2 1/2 qts in the side of the block by the time its coming out the turbo feed line.

3 qts for the light to come on. my truck used 4 qts of oil for 4000 miles untill broke in. now it uses about 1/2 qt to a 1qt every 7000-8000 miles
