Is it safe to ASSume that you have your FPRV shimmed already?

Yes sir, as said iv bottle tested and everything... the fprv passes like a champ.... Idk what's up, its so frustrating though everything on this truck has never felt like its as powerful/strong/reliable as it should imo

Well sounds to me like either your fuel filter is plugged or you have a restriction somewhere between the lift pump and the CP3, you have a major internal leak somewhere allowing fuel to bleed off, or you got yourself a stock CP3 like previously mentioned, or a bad CP3 for that matter.
If it passes bottle tests it's not the FPRV, only other leaks can be external, or through the injectors then.

I'm gonna change my fuel filter. I may just be drunk and seeing things, but I swear I just saw 27k on the way home lol. Also my lift pump is showing 2 psi less than normal at idle also.... hopefully Tata old saying kiss OS right like you said. Can't afford to keep guessing around to get this truck running right

Hey Ben, how is the truck running after you did more testing? John and I tried calling you Saturday morning did you get the message? I didn,t mean to confuse you with the email it had mentioned a few pumps in it but the pumps were all described and had tracking attached so you could track your pump. I received the diy pump on Thursday at my shop, the stage 3 ford pump was received on Friday and the stage 3 lb7 is in the truck and running great. So by process of elmination you had to receive the correct pump. I hope by the time this gets to you everything is as it should be. If there is any concern about it I will be by the phone as of 8:00 am tomorrow please call me.

I just changed the fuel filter and still have no change in performance. I guess I need to do a return rate test on the injectors. I don't think its the wrong pump either anymore. Must be a bad injector, I can't think of anything else really. FPRV is fine, have 11 psi from lift pump. Classic stock engine max effort race tune etc.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind if some test bad. What size hose should I buy to run from the injectors to the bottles? Also is there any tricks to remove the clips on the injectors, I hear they like to get fragile on people and snap.

Madmax, looks like you and myself are in the same boat.. I've done everything you did and here I sit with 21,200 psi...so I scored a set of low mileage lbz sticks...going to be putting them in this week. I'm willing to bet that is both of our problems.

I think so also. Funny I haven't heard of any lbzs killing injectors till this summer.. here's my balance rates, first pic is drive second is neutral. Luckily balance rates still log bbl, that and tyranny stuff is all that works now. But I think I will get some 3/16 hose tomorrow at Lowes and try and do a return test... have you done one yet devon?

I would just bypass #5 and test each bank pulling the return line. Are you going to have them all rebuilt at once?

Yes, the plan was to get 60 overs down the road abit. But if 5 tests bad, more than likely I will just be looking for a good used, or remaned stick to run for awhile

It actually spikes to around 25000 acording to the auto meter rail gauge, not 29... not sure that would change any symptoms..

Be sure to test the return rates on all... My balance rates on all 8 were dead nuts perfect, no more than 2 points off, But 1 & 4 returned 45 & 51ml in 20 seconds at idle. The other 6 didn't even start to fill the beakers.

DVT asking for 23000 all I get is 19500ish... I'll try and unplug the regulator tomorrow I guess and see what happeneds. The regulator was broken during shipping, but figured as long it idled fine the plug wires were making good enough contact and was working as it should. I guess that could be it (hoping for it). I do see alittle fuel on the cp3 though from the HP fitting on the cp3... Guess it leaks abit, but I wouldn't think it is leaking enough as I don't see it leak when I broke the truck to high pressure at idle...
