So my new cp3 holds about 500-1000 psi more at most than my stock one did. And I still get p0087 at around 90mph. Brand new Bosch, floor it 3.5 asking for 26100 psi getting 23000

Did you check for leaks? I would def call em and see what they had to say

That's the problem with them... You can't just call and get help you have to be somebody or know somebody they've got the worst service

Im not backing up floor it or anyone here but ben, have you checked return rates on your injectors? Done a current bottle test? Checked return rates at the cp3? Verified good lift pump pressure?

Maybe im out of the loop and missed the thread where you did all that before we jump to the blaim of a cp3?

Bottle test and lift pump are fine and have been forever. Never did a return rate test it looks like a pain in the ass. Was just thinking in the shower though I hope its not an injector.. good luck finding a new lbz one. Never checked return of the cp3 either, but either way its a new one shouldn't be messed up. God I hope its not a stick

Id definitley do a return rate test on the injectors. Albert (Burn Down) wasnt holding rail pressure just turning the rail pressure up using DVT. 2 injectors returned a lot of fuel.

I stopped at a dealer in Canada and scored one new LBZ injector. I could be talked out of it, but $150 core charge and exchange rate, etc, my rear end is still hurting from that deal. Not looking for a profit, just saying it woulda been nice if they tossed in some vasoline in the deal

Since you bought it thru dts, I think I'd continue communication on your issues through them rather than directly with John. Trying to deal directly with John has proven to be extremely difficult at times.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble after all the trouble of swapping cp3s! :(

BUT. you dont know if the new cp3 kicked the pressure enough to blow the FPRV, specially if your getting spikes and it drops. Id just rather be sure its not somehting simple before tearing the CP3 out again ya know.

I'll test it again, but I highlydoubt that's it... it doesn't drop like it blows
