Good thing I know what you look like.....that refillable headlight fluid tank is definitely worth more than $11. :D

Spent most of the day Saturday measuring and spec-ing everything out as well as cleaning all the parts. By the end of the night Saturday, I at least got the crank in, mains torqued down, and pulled the reluctor wheel bolts to clean them and red loctite them.

Missing one side cap bolt so I'll be picking one up tomorrow

Today the rest of the bottom end got finished up. Bottom end is completed down to the lower pan. I'll need to get different head gaskets as the C's are way too much. A's will fit very well. Just need to drop the lifters in and heads can go on.

Lookin' good James! Hope it all goes smooth for ya!

should be relatively easy from here. only thing i need to work out is how to get the damn y-bridge tube to stay in the actual y-bridge. he has an older EGR delete kit that has no support to hold the bridge together. i may just weld the tube into the bridge. from what i read, it makes changing the cp3 without removing the full y-bridge impossible. gunna have to play around with it some.

Weld a couple tabs on the tube and use some short button head screws. Or if there is not enough meat in the bridge for screws use small studs so you could ensure there is no leak where they go into the bridge and don't impede flow. You can cut the tabs off a stock LBZ intake pipe if you have one laying around? Just a thought.

Thinking semi afro-injunearing here.... can you weld a nut and sleeve on the side parallel to the tubes and use a bolt to fasten it together/ hold in place?
This all if I am thinking of the right parts that are basically a slip fit currently right? (I remember Sean having a problem of popping a tube out on the Y-bridge when hitting higher boost)

yeah they are slip fit as the egr cooler is what held it in place. remember, the parts are aluminum so cant really weld a nut to it lol. i need to get it set down in there to really see how i want to do it

Plumbers tape or get the y bridge support strap from profab... Works great..

thats what was on there. either his nitrous or boost stretched the tape, blew both o-rings in half and made one heck of a boost leak. not to metion, with a 68mm on the top, i wouldnt trust it. i dont want this to be a failure point

yup! ill probably run it down to Rito's though. i have some shocks that need some up fitting

You can just weld it or have him buy a new egr delete :thumb:

yeah i have a feeling ill just get it welded. simple and easy lol
