Put the Sulastic Rubber shackles on the back end. I would say they make the truck ride 50% better. Haven't had a chance to do the washboard freeway yet.

These trucks are absolute slugs in August after about 4-5 hours in town driving at 115 degrees, completely heat soaked and they move that's about it. Fortunaltely only have to deal with that for a few months of the year...

Mine is a special kind of pain in the ass because the motor was built for sea level with an aggressive cam and low compression pistons w/ valve reliefs. It's not fond of chilly weather and the 5000'+ elevation.

Hate when people can't do simple things.. Order stuff for a 8,000lb axle... Got the right hub/rotor wrong caliper bracket.. Caliper brackets for a 6/7k axle not to mention calibers are supposed to be same color and they aren't. Some one(s) is getting an a ass chewing Monday.. Duck playing "who dropped the ball" over the phone

Tallied up all my fuel receipts for my trip from Oregon to Arizona. Averaged 22 mpg with the bed loaded about half full of stuff. Pretty damn happy with those numbers considering a lot of sections were hilly.

POS penske truck was a 22ft and averaged 8 mpg loaded and with a car trailer. Luckily diesel was dirt cheap most places I stopped.
