Parts are in perfect shape so I don't see a failure happening. Just paint was peeling off so I wire brushed it off and will paint it back.

Brackets are off a 01 dodge ram 3500 air lift kit # 57215

It's not bolt on though so that's what I was going to explain in my thread.

Perfect shape, kinda like the isolator bushing in the carrier bearing on my truck when I purchased it at 37,000 miles back in April of 2013. The bearing was OK but age and dry rot had taken its toll on the rubber. Air bags like tires I would bet have a lifespan of about 7 years tops.

I should have specified: brackets are in perfect shape. Bags are being replaced with new along with new lines and fittings. Also getting a compressor and switch so I can air up from the cab.

First I need to catch up, in the past couple months Ive gotten exergy 60s, a fuelab liftpump and a billet input shaft. The input shaft was not by choice but stuff happens lol! Today I removed the 4x4 decals.

Life happens man. As much as we all want that dedicated race or pull truck, most of us will never get there. In want mine low and stanced but it just sits now remotely stock height and collects dust.

That's how it works man. We have been building a new horse barn full of stalls and my new to me cream puff LBZ had NO scratches and NO dents, I see some of my laborers must have hit a door right by the glass lucky he didn't break the glass but it did put I nice chip in the paint!!

LML has been hauling non stop so I had a little down time to get tire rotated, it having the factory alcoas, the tires have to be dismounted and remounted for a proper rotation, so I took it in. They knock it out quick, and I am back at the ranch washing it. I notice that one rear outer is white letters out!! It stands out like a sore thumb to me, luckiy the truck I dirty 24/7 so you cant tell it after a day of working.

and how i mounted them... i change them around 60,000mile(unless i get dirty fuel *rolleyes) 7857 is 17.XX and the 1259 is 14.XX the 24770 is 35-40.00

At the risk of sounding stupid can someone please explain this in new diesel owner lingo? Lol

The bf7587 & bf1259 are filter part numbers for an auxiliary filtering system he runs. The 17.xx, 14.xx & 35-40 should each have dollar signs in front of them.

24777 I believe is oil filter or stock fuel filter replacement but not sure which.

24777 is the wix filter head that runs ~$40 can be had via summit racing if local shops can't get it.

Current setup on my LMM hotshot with OEM tank removed.. Can easily mount it outside the frame rail with bed on..

iIMO yes.
I changed OEM fuel filter every oil change,10,000 miles. At ~$35-40 a pop. The bf7587 and its variants can easily got 80-100,000 miles on our trucks Same with the bf1259 and variants. Vs 10-12k with OEM style.. I've pushed the OEM to ~30k and with lift pump you really tell the difference between new/old filter. Plus changing filter in the OEM location just flat sucks!
In short.
Better filtration, less down time and saves money due to longer service interval, and I can pick up these filters at any truck stop. I have gotten a tank full of dirty fuel before..
Things I see people forget.. The 2 micron filters do not have any means to remove any water from the fuel like the OEM filter does. The bf1259 is a 10-14 micron fuel/water filter OEM is a 6 micron fuel water filter
