James, I know your truck is lifted and far from stock but can you tell any difference in the ride since you installed the new body mounts?

very much so. i have not decided if i like them or not. i can now hear the lift pump and fuel cooler fan in the truck when the engine is not running, the tires transfer more noise into the cab at low speed and you feel more little bumps in the road.

the up side is you feel more connected to the chassis, the bigger/harsher bumps feel smoother but that may be in my mind or the old mounts were just that worn, i didnt get any extra squeaks or rattles from them but my interior never rattled or made noise, at highway speeds i feels/sounds the same.

im curious how the ride will be over the highway expansion joints. i didnt hit any on my initial test drive. if those get worse, im not keeping these in. These things do have a shit ton of preload in them when you tighten the bolts down, like 1.5" worth of cranking down before the metal washer hits the top steel insert stem. i may try loosening the bolts up a few turns and see if ride/noise transfer improves. if i cant make myself like them, ill pull them and put dormans in. i really dont want to have to do that cause i dont trust that they will last but we will see.

Thanks for the feedback James. I been contemplating replacing mine. Think I'll just leave it alone right now.

Washed both trucks. The 2010 has trim falling off.

This came loose behind bug shield, 7 outta 8 clips broken. Think I have to readjust grill. Driverside Corner a hitting.

Then the door knocker trim is becoming loose. Gotta stop going to the big truck washes. Just peeled off passenger side. Gotta restick.

Rebuilt the neighbors front end on his 03. Wish I'd have taken picture...no clue how that thing hadn't crashed yet. On the bright side new shocks and front end picked it up 2 inches or so and then he wanted it cranked another 1"

Took mine to see family for a hs graduation. Did a burnout for my brothers youngest son when we left...he thought that was good stuff. He asked me if he could go drive it earlier in the day, he's in 6th grade

drove her to the car wash and back. then pulled the toy hauler out this morning for a wash. Nobody believes me when i say the truck fits in my garage. My buddy/detailer watched in amazement as i backed her right in and shut the garage :roflmao::roflmao:
