Ordered PCV reroute kit, EGR plate, airaid air filter for the LBZ.

Don't even wanna delete the EGR.

Not gonna lie, my next truck will get bar minimum of mods

I never know how sharp the "techs" are at the testing stations here in Maricopa county so no EGR delete for me and keeping the mods to minimum. I did however find that gutting the intake heater, 3" Mishimoto LBZ/LMM fittings I found on Craigslist, with the 3" hotside pipe made quite a difference in the way mine ran. It appears stock and should pass this year, exhaust downpipe maybe next month and keeping all my stock stuff..

My sister lives in Black Canyon City and I could do it, I just do not want to take a chance of a state employee yo-yo to cross reference something and then have to deal with a small legal issue and fines, not sure what the fines/legal ramifications are and do not want to find out....

So Ive been noticing when I put my truck in R that my hotside pipe randomly touches the hydraboost/master cylinder and rattles. Now I plan on shortening the pipe as its slightly long, but this is only part of my issue. I also noticed that when I shut the truck off that regardless of what tune im on that the truck shakes violently side to side. My guess is that I possibly have a torn or tearing motor mount. Ive looked around and read on the bolting of the stock mount, but I don't have access to an engine hoist...how would one go about getting the mounts out?

I looked at mine many times, gotta be a way. Remove the top portion of the shroud, use some blocks of wood and a scissor jack to raise the motor and finagle it out. I would use a bottle jack, but I don't trust them too much, BTW mine is a 2x4 also...

What ever it is.. It enough that I have to rescale glow plug on time to start the truck below 30° on first try.. And it smoke/hazes white a lot more

You are bound to have something else wrong. Mine fires right up with no haze with 60% injectors, C's with 16.5:1 pistons with temps in the teens. My glow plugs settings are stock as well

I've changed them, not fun but very possible. Last one I did took about 2 hours.

Jack up driver front and remove wheel, set jackstand on frame by cab mount, remove inner fender, remove I/c pipe, turn steering wheel 1/4 turn left from center and secure steering wheel with seat belt. Remove steering shaft bolt and slide apart letting steering shaft lay inside the frame.

The next part is the tricky part. Take the bottom 3 bolts out of the engine mount (frame side). Then you can use an engine house to lift up the driver side of the engine a little or stick a floor jack under your truck with a 2x4 slid up through the maze and sitting on the corner of the oil pan (where it bolts to the block, that flange). Raise up slightly and remove the 4 top bolts to the block then raise up enough to slide the mount out forward.

Reverse to install.

Getting the old torn out is a lot easier than the new single piece one in.

Installed my electric cutout finally, 3" downpipe to 4" frontpipe then the cutout. If its closed it runs through the stock muffler and is nice and quiet.
