Had the windshield and driver side window replaced. Apparently the aftermarket can't make a side window worth a damn. The Chinese junk you get now does not fit the tracks well and jams up as it goes up slowing the regulator way down or stopping it. Windshield is actual GM glass. Least the glass guy is being cool and getting a couple different mfg glass to try and see what works best. If they don't work, gunna have to figure out how to get a factory window from the dealer. Just can't be easy.

Can't find one at a junk or salvage yard?

not one that wont be scratched up worse than mine was. Wound up getting a different MFG that supposably still used factory molds for the glass. something about it was right cause she goes up and down smoothly now. no dicking with adjustment with it either.

Which manufacturer was it? Might be good info for anyone else looking for new glass.

Took it on a 3k mile vacation. Gave it a workout tearing around a bunch of mountain roads. Went into the mountains on some old logging roads. Man it hates extremely washboard dirt roads with no weight in the bed. I though I was going to have to use 4wd.

Now the sad news I got smoked by a new GT stang when we went WOT from a roll. I was only on a 550hp tune though I didn't think the stang was worth stressing my rods on the big tune.

Swapped fuel cooler from return side to supply side.. and swapped the 10" 1000cfm fan for a spare spal 11" 1800cfm fan..
been seeing upwards of 180° temps.. when 90°+ out.. and loaded..kinda pointless on cooler the return when the sun cooks it in the fuel tank.
Mounted it in the old Engine oil cooler location, fuel cooler used to be inside the frame under the fuel tank horozontal..now it's outside the frame and vertical

Let us know how much of a difference in fuel temp you see. I'm curious.

You don't have anything covering your tank do you? So its sitting in the full sun, with very air flow, and probably sees a bit of heat from the engine. It suprises me it gets that warm over ambient though.

So normal hot day with load I'm ~175-180° ...now avg 145-150° flat ground..peaking ~170° on grades it's mid 80s put right now
I'm pretty sure if I put a 40kbtu derale fin/plate style I could drop it more vs B&M tube style..

I put some new wheels on my truck, they where the best that was available, but they are slowly growing on me. I was really bummed about switching, but the old ones they were all cracked and ones was leaking air. Thankfully they warrantied them so I didn't have to pay for a new set. The picture with the trailer are the olds wheels.

Moved a 28' boat, about 30 feet. Needed to go from driveway to back of the yard.

Then I looked at it and the empty driveway.
