I just put some on mine.....Had M/T's before. These are bit quieter on the highway. Little less rumble too. I loved the MT tires but the RT is playing out to be a real good tire....Especially since 80% of my mileage is highway

. Don't get me wrong....First thing I did after they were on was hit the sand pit. 4 miles on the tires and I was out roosting shit with them. :D. They're very comparable to MTs, just more for old people lol

i purposely put bfg ko2s on my tracker and loved how quite they were, they just dont look "aggressive" and on a tracker, you need all the aggressive you can get! lol when i went to 17s a month back, i picked up some cooper stt pros. they are not A/T quite by any means . think i can tolerate them though, see how bad they get when cupping starts. the KO2s were wearling quickly on the tracker too (33x12.5R15), i was not pleased with that. siping wore/really opened up after one wheeling trip to moab too. never seen a tire do that as bad as these.

the limo has had 3 sets of KM2s on it, only had two separate (lucky caught the bubble before they blew) and only get about 30-35k out of them before they are done. i have always loved the way the toyo M/Ts look on TT and prerunner trucks, plus they come in a 13.50 wide in 37s. i have told myself i WILL be buying those when this set of KM2s is shot. should give it a meaner look and fill the fenders even better

Hahaha!

I felt the same way when I put Michelin LTX's on my LML when the tire shop refused to put 420's on it.

ha! not to mention how long they last. My dad always runs those on his trucks when the factory tires are shot.

They definitely will. I've always loved the MT tires. They look good, quieter than other comparable mud tires, wear really well with minimal cup/feather. Biggest downfall is they are heavy but you'll get over that :D. I just wanted to try something new and since of of my MT's separated, I figured it was time. First one I've had do that in half a dozen sets.

Drove the truck and picked up 2.5 Gallon jug of delvac and a mobil 1 filter at Walmart.
30.97 for the oil and 9.97 for the filter. Not a bad deal.

Sold mine.

Tonight, after almost 12 years together, we've parted ways. Yes, it's just an inanimate object but I'm a sentimental kinda guy. Bought it in 2005 after getting my first full time job outta college. Since then, me & this ol truck have seen & done a lot together - a marriage, our son being born, numerous trips to diesel motorsports events, moved homes 3x, been in the ocean (literally put its tires in the ocean), been everything from our primary/only means of transportation to our spare vehicle back to my primary, blown copious amounts of cash on it, just so many good times. It's going away needing TLC that, frankly, I was just tired of spending money on. I'm gonna sure miss it and for the first time since I was 16, I'm vehiceless. Its a bittersweet situation.

Now hopefully this will get me motivated to finally do the 83. And our household still has a duramax DD - my wife's truck. :thumb:

I know the feeling buddy. When I sold my 24' CC boat I felt the same way. Lots of memories had with good friends on that thing, but that is what it is. A thing, you will find another thing that catches your fancy, just give it some time...

Made a new sump for the tank and a set of drop shackles. Also a new tank cover to replace the original sending unit. It will have a single inlet for return fuel and I am gonna use an autometer sending unit scaled to tank. May need to add a one way vent for pressure relief also.20170407_202120.jpg20170407_182753.jpg20170407_182802.jpg20170407_102531.jpg

Didn't do anything to mine because I don't own one (drive a 6 speed common rail cummins) but we ran our 2 Millionth engine at the DMAX plant!
