On the Road
Took over 500 pounds of gear out of back of truck. Hitches, tools, extra fluids. Considering retiring the 2010 from commercial duty.

Truck is showing CEL at startup. Edge is showing PO401 - EGR insufficient flow, and PO674 - #4 glow plug circuit.

Recently P2155 -injector supply group D circut has showed up a few times. And hauling in 100 degree heat was seeing dreaded PO087 - low rail pressure code.

I put in some led signal bulbs, and tore the steering column apart because I had slopp in between the iss and the steering wheel. I found 2 set screws were loose at the pivot point for the tilt steering. I tightened them and the slopp went away. Now before I put everything back together should I pull the screws out and and put a drop of blue lock tight on them?

I would, I find myself using Loctite on the majority of stuff on my truck. Most of bolts from the factory has some sort of thread locker.

Did you find that in thread online about those screws.? I thought I had one saved, just don't remember what I saved under..

I went out and looked at my little truck today. Still working on the pass side mount design.

BBT is dying a slow death.:(

Drove on the stock tone to get emissions tested, fooled them again :D

:roflmao: Do you have a test prep procedure that you need to do? I know LB7's don't have egr reactivation stuff to go through like my LLY will, but I don't know enough about EFI live as I've been trying to educate myself as well as I can before making that leap/pick a tuner etc. to know if there's ecm / tune stuff that needs to be adjusted before going in. Or if you guys with EFI live tuning keep separate stock tunes on your PC and reflash before heading in?

Thanks!

I just put it on tune 1 and crossed my fingers. I always pass the snap test, just barely. but i always have a hellofa time trying to convince them the damn truck was made without a cat.

Looks damn good tho man! I spent a solid 12 hours on mine last weekend. I love doing it, however.

Had to make this.. engine for some reason was having hard time priming itself.
3"*24" tube 3*2 reducer rubber 3-1.5" pvc with 1.5-1/2" npt holds ~3qts
Rubber reducer doesn't much more that 15psi.. and i couldn't at the time find something to go from 3" to 1/2" that was easily removable to fill the tube.
Engine does 40psi at cranking rpms
