Idler pulley closest to the tensioner locked up on me & ate the serpentine belt yesterday. Got a tow back to the house. Bought a new pulley & belt from O'Reilly's. Pulley bolt torqued to 40 ft-lbs. This belt seemed a bit chinchy so I may get a good gator back belt & swap them out. This one can go in the toolbox as a side-of-the-road spare. Need to keep a spare pulley too. This is at least the 4th time this has happened between mine & my wife's dmax.

MasterPro Belt K061177 (6K1177) 13/16" x 118-1/4" (20mm x 3004mm) Made in USA.

Gates Smooth Pulley 36310. (Made in Canada)

Truck now has 188,378mi. on it. A sticky/loping FPR but the injectors are still the originals.

My hydroboost had a hard/sticking pedal ever since my three AutoZone power steering pumps failed. Pulled the unit apart and cleaned the proportioning valve and bore. Good as new! Saved me from buying a new unit!

^ Got any pics Brian? I may also be looking at a Cummins...

Unfortunately I don't. I realized that my splined lug nuts aren't the same thread pitch from a OBS dmax to a NBS cummins so I could only mount the wheel on the cummins hub and look at it... didn't trust letting it down. Fail. :roflmao:

I do know that they come with 285/60/20's factory on the blacked out edition and those are a touch over 34" tall and mine are 32" so I could drop the truck a little bit and never have to worry about rubbing.

So you think you're gonna pull the trigger?

Finally hit 500 miles and had a chance to change the oil filter for break in. Another 500 and I'll do a full oil change and turn her up. Also installed a muffler and over the axle dump because I am old.

With the twins I get little to no drone. It is about 2500% better than the stack. I do have some vibrations under the truck though when it idles. I can't figure out what it is and it is driving me nuts lol

Hahaha yea I hate stacks for a truck you drive. I'm thinking about putting 2 36" mufflers on mine and axle dumping it. Im burnt out on driving a loud truck. Maybe I should just trade it off for a Prius

Honestly this single 5" mbrp cuts engine noise so much it is shocking. 2x36" mufflers would make it damn near silent.

Look around the leaf spring area, that's where my tip was touching the exhaust was moving around some.

It isn't a rattle like that. It is more of a tinny sounding vibration. I am leaning towards a heat shield somewhere but haven't had a chance to really get under the truck. The truck is low and I am fat.

I need to just stick a muffler on it and live with it.. But the temptation to sell it and buy a stock lml is strong.

The electronic noise from hybrid motor is worse than a loud exhaust.
