Actualy, my truck is not even up here. I pulled a truck up to ATS for a trans install, the truck i pulled it up with is a 06 cummins and it need to be looked at too. ATS had the trans in the truck in one day and replaced the U-joints since they found the joints were bad. They found the problem with the Cummins too. If you must know, dropped my motor off for a full build, im looking at rods, pistons, heads, cam, dual cp3's and large sticks. As soon as it gets done i will come out to Cali so we can play.
ATS has addressed the issues they have had with the delam in the past. That is old news that people keep bringing up. I dont see anybody from ATS bashing anyone on any of the forums?? MikeL called them out and NEVER responded in HIS thread. Lots of people were looking for tech info from both Inglewood and ATS. Who delivered?
The only time i had a ATS trans "break" is when i boosted it up to much and when it started to pull through the brakes i applied more break pressure and the output shaft broke. Other than that, i came up one time for a heat issue that let to a easy fix with the valve body and i came up when my radiator broke and trans fluid went into my trans and wiped it out. ATS could have not warrentied it but they did. And yes, warrenty does mean alot to the "regular" guy.
Just how did they address the issue of the delaminated clutches? They new about this issue and continued to sell them. For a while they were using Alto C1's. What did they do for the guys that had failures? What did they do for my 9 failures that I fixed out of my pocket?
