lol, i wish there were a penny for all those types of questions, but i ask some funny ones too, some really invade some people's privacy i guess too, which i understand cuz i don't want to give EVERYTHING out for free, but not everyone is an engineer or a welder or a trans tech or an engine builder or a good driver, so a little shove in the right direction and a solemn "if i find out you do the wrong thing with this info, you'll pay" talkin-to is all most need

Im by no means always right...ive made many mistakes before and some I paid dearly for. Ive learned lessons the hard way, and making mistakes helps EVERYONE. I only know the stuff I do today (which is so little compared to the huge amount og knowledge out there) by making mistakes and learning from the best.

I still remember when I first joined DP, one of my first threads/questions was "I just got my Edge, but my MBRP exhaust wont be here for another week, is it ok if I run the Edge just on level 1 or 2 with the stock exhaust? Is that going to hurt anything??". Funny how I was worried about that stuff back then...now its just "ehh...I dunno...try it and see if it works!" Im no different than everyone else, we all help each other here. :)

A coupe of my first memories of your posts on DP Ben is you fried an ECM if I remember correctly, and another time you had a video of your boost gauge on your stock turbo that was up around 50psi, that was just before it grenaded. Don't remember the dates been 3-4 years ago. Was this you or another Ben from Conn? IIRC your avatar was a cop car. That's about the time I got my first time out for trying to use my, "twins:D" as my avatar. Something about them being naked the mods didn't like.;)

Well not to deral this topic but thought I would let you know you are not alone onthe banned category. I was just recently banned for a month on DP with no warning. Posted pics of our blower motor we are building and got banned b/c I am a non supporting vendor.

But hey I did Get a PM stating how they would enjoy having us as a supporting vendor...... LMFAO

I guess I should change my signature to match some of the moderators on how they have there trucks listed out with all the non supporting vendors shops names in there detail and it will be ok....

Mods at the DF seem a little trigger happy with the ban hammer

They just got like 4 new mods over there. And most of them are all newbies who have been correct by, Mike, Newly, Brian, myself and others so they are on a rampage to chase the knowledge out. I just go there to feel smart, Im always lost when I am over here:joker:

Don't do that Chad...Kyle 01dmax6spd will set you straight and when he is on your case it is lights out. Well, that is if he can get away from his thread over there about how he can't get laid and hasn't had female interaction since the cows came back home and his cousin married his uncle :D

Don't have to prove it. I started making my own race parts in 1977 after hours at the Volkswagen shop I worked at, with the blessing of the owners. Southwest Import Rebuilders. If you do your math, that would make me 17 years old. I lied on the job app about my age. I didn't live with mommy either. So I'm not exactly new to the idea of making your own parts, or doing things on your own.

And today, I'll make stuff I need if I have to. Usually if it's someone else's design, I'll buy it from them, to show my support for them. Like SuperDiesel and other inventors. Of course I'd never sell someone else's design; it would be publically advertising that I'm not capable of free thought or creativity.

Hopefully someday you come up with an original idea, and make a part of your own design, and someone will start copying it and posting all over the internet that you're a rip-off, since they can make it cheaper.

Then perhaps you will figure out what the "difference" is. ;)

Oh gee, you made your own parts 30 years ago. Good thing you have all your supporting vendors, cause it doesn't seem like you do anything now.
