Here a couple of pics of what I've got going this winter. Turbo relocate and a few other things. Winter's flying by that for sure.

Jim, you should mount the turbo and IC to the engine, that way you could hard plumb all the piping with v-clamps instead of silicone boots.
This way you'd never have to worry about blowing a boot.

BTW, I'm jealous!!:thumb:

Non duramax related. Both of mine are in pieces but going back together as stock trucks for market. Get back into duramax pulling someday. For now we've got the tractor though which isn't funded by my pocket, just sweat.

We were able to get intercoolers allowed in our 640cu in hot farm class and just got a precision 3x3 charger. Got some faster gears too. Need some different tires. Want to make a tilt hood. Hopefully the injection pump can throw enough fuel.

Good luck. Everybody.

Here's a short clip from a couple weeks ago when we pulled the truck out in the cold @ss weather to try to iron out a few issues with the throttle pedal. Ether queen doesn't like cold weather. :D

Finishing up the intake and air knife and finalizing the weight box/water box and off to dyno next month. Gathering piping for the gay NADM bed stack and possibly the smoke tube. We are currently registered as the 17th entrant for Eaton indoor in March. If anyone drops, we are in.

I've had solid motor mounts and no issues. Trans still has stock rubber mount. Figured too much frame flex in these and it'd be shatterday for the bellhousing or tail shaft.

Sounds yummy Ed.

Rich, check with Rick but I'm pretty sure the up pipes for stock/bd manifolds won't work with his headers/manifolds so new up pipes would be needed as well.

I'm curious about others' thoughts on your question though... I'm sure the cast manifolds handle the heat better (and might even spool better due to that) but surely the headers (even the log style) flow better. Especially at greater RPM. so I'm curious which might be best for pulling too.

Cool.

I got mine solid at the motor then again with the midplate at the bell housing.
I plan on v bands on everything.
I have a set of RDL up pipes i would sell if anybody is interested.
Hey Ed looks and sounds good.

Thanks Guys

we mounted all our stuff to the engine also, it makes it alot easier when it goes on the engine dyno stand.
