are there any videos online of striss' truck making passes? Did he run 3 cp3s? He and I spoke years ago about it and he was planningon it back then, just wondering if he did or not?

No, just 2 cp3's. He made real good power on the engine Dyno, just had lots of bad luck the last couple years.

OT but for some reason profab didn't want to sell me a T-case after I told them the tq I was runnin?

SCS was really good to deal with though considering I'd heard otherwise

they have a "Diesel" version drop box now that uses larger shafts, 1 3/8" i think. i dont know why they wouldnt sell you one.. there is a dozen or more diesels just in northern IL using them... one of stahls trucks ran 4 years or more with the 1" shaft box, granted they only ran 6200# at the time which is huge difference on life of driveline parts.. but still the torque is there, and several passes with bar tires

Not sure either? I told them i would be 1/4 mile race only at a wieght of aprrox 6400# with roughly 2000 lbs of tq........I was just geussing on the tq but didnt want to geuss low.

I had heard from others that these guys would help me out....Not bashing them as i appreciated there honesty when they said they didnt think it would work.

One thing to consider that my project was differnt is that i dont have the hieght nor room for a huge drop box;)

SCS was also at first reluctent to do it.......

Think about calling a company and telling them you want to run a diesel 4X4 truck with 1100hp down the drag strip.

ITS NOT A COMMON PHONE CALL:D
