You already said why not. Unlike a gasser, we have no way to control the ignition of the extra fuel. I would not want to see what happened if that experiment didn't work out for you.

why not? I would just deal with tuning but on the 2011 i cant they cant get anymore fuel to the moter than I have now and its not much. ANd no one can crack it so. I figured nx will help then i found wet kits for gas that could be changed over and that would be a way to get more power but. the timing is a problem when you add fuel that way..but I am all new at this nx. I built a LBZ that ran 750rwh with no drugs. want to get to 800+ with this one and I will use drugs to get there safely.

Detonation will be a huge problem.

I just bought a Zex kit, what size nozzle would keep me under 100hp... I dont want to push it to much.. Truck has built trans, lift pump, duramaxtuner built trans tune.. I already have watermeth should I shut it off when I run watermeth or can i spray both at the same time?

I have the Zex kit too, according to the papers that came with it the 32 jets are 50hp and the 46jets are 100hp. i tried both and theres a huge difference between them. the 32 didnt feel very strong but still gained me 2-3 tenths, the 46jet hitting it at 60' until the traps gave me half a second, ran 11.71 on my stock motor, ran two runs with the 32jet and 4 runs with the 46jet until the turbo blew up lol:roflmao: My engine LOVED the 100hp shot, felt very strong once i pushed the happy button

I'm gonna buy a bunch more smaller jets so i can dial it in perfectly for 11.90 class at different temps and elevations. At one track i'll need a little more "help" than other tracks.

Hmm so the 46 jet is around 100 and the 32 is supposed to be 50, and they dont have any inbewteen that? Also how did you set yours up on a manual switch instead of the tps and boost level?

Also where can I purchase smaller jets... I want my truck to last, and I feel that running 100 or less will help that..

The papers it comes with don't really apply...it takes an .075-.080 jet to make 100rwhp.
A lot of this is largely dependent on the amount of fuel you have unburned without the application of nitrous. The more unburned fuel you have the larger gain (example of large gain would be someone running a stock sized charger to meet class rules while also running a stroker or dual CP3s.)

If you blow smoke at WOT, you could use a little more air, or N2O ;)

Mine is dirty (running a dual cp3 tune on stock turbo/cp3/injectors), that's probably why it loved that .046 jet so much, almost cleaned the smoke up.

I have mine still setup on automatic like in the instructions, but i added a inline momentary pushbutton on the steering wheel so i can hit it at about the 60' line and not get wicked spin out of the hole. I can hit the pushbutton before im staging and it will act like the automatic mode in the instructions. i tried that once and it was all over the place off the line, that was actually on my 11.71 run but my 60' was only 1.65 where my others were all 1.59-1.61, that's what my 60' is usually at without spraying. So would i have not sprayed out of the hole it would've probably been a 11.6xx run

Ha-ha, I know you should always worry about drive pressure. Was wondering if he's nuked the turbo yet?? Would be cool to see dp measured while he's hitting the nitrous

The stock turbo in the van is doing fine still. I was able to run an 11.5 last night.

Nitrous for Dummies

I am concidering the ZEX Diesel Nitrous kit for my 04.5 stock LLY. I only have a Hypertech tuner and 5" MBRP exhaust. In process of changing to LBZ mouthpiece at turbo. Should I install the injection nozzle preturbo between LBZ mp and AF? And if so what effect will this have on the turbo life with 225K miles? The nitrous will only be used at drag strip, this is a daily driver. Thanks.

Not an answer to your question but, with the hypertech, nitrous isn't going to help much. I doubt it is fueling hard enough for nitrous to do anything. You gotta have fuel to burn to see much improvement. Take that money and spend it on a good EFI Live tune, then you will probably have more power all the time.
