I torqued my Studs to 35FTLBS and that has proven to be just fine. I would be afraid of run 60FTLBS in the aluminuim. If you Heli coiled the treads like I did maybe but I will let some else try that. 35 has worked great so far.

When your bolt's broke was it with after market springs? and what rpm were you running.

On the TQ anything more than 30ftlbs has got to be better than stock. but i feel the same, 60 ftlbs in the aluminum is borderline.

The bolts i got i will TQ to 40lbs with moly, and IF i ever need studs it will be TQ'ed to 50 with moly

Socal springs, Ti retainers, EEP cam and push rods. My engines sees high 4000s often.
