I tried calling this guy who sells them supposedly, left a message, finally got a hold of him he told me he was driving and to call him back in a few hours when he was home, did, left another message, and never got a return call back :confused:

You must be talking about greg.....i called and no answer for like 4 days, guess he dont want to sell stuff.

He quoted me $75 + $5 shipping in an email about 2 months ago, I called him and he said $100 + $10 shipping, so I said wtf I have a quote for $80 he said cool, call me back in a few hours and never answered me. Guess he is butthurt to not have as much profit or something?

Call Curtis halvorson(DPR), he will fix you up with some rocker studs, i just called. he said he could get them to me this week, i told him to call when he gets them in hand...;)

Greg sold me the first set at cost because I did all the mesauring and leg work to make sure they would fit all gens of Dmax. They cost me more then $80. I bet he misquoted you the price of the Cummins

Well I would have paid the $100, he just said that he would honor that first price. Oh well, Ill go straight to ARP.

I've got a bunch coming, be here tomorrow. I'll take care of you on the pricing. :D

ARP lists the torque spec for the bolts I ordered on their website in the catalog. I think it is something like 50 lb ft.

Actually 170,000 psi rated.


Looks like a good intermediate option between stock and the stud kit.

Still way more than we could ever need/use with 300lbs valve springs...:D

Besides the guy at ARP told me they were rated for 180,000, that's also where i got the TQ spec's

I went by Summits web site and the ARP catalog show them at 170,000.

300 psi valve springs, but twice as many of them. :D

I torqued my Studs to 35FTLBS and that has proven to be just fine. I would be afraid of run 60FTLBS in the aluminuim. If you Heli coiled the treads like I did maybe but I will let some else try that. 35 has worked great so far.

Just finished putting mine back together.Didn't realize those studs were needed,I had only did the main and head studs.Maybe can make a latter project out of it.
