How about we all get back on topic and quit speaking for both Mike and Dave.
Is the price difference between the raybestos and altos (assmuning the raybestos test out fine) going to be a large enough margin that someone will choose the rays over the altos? Or is it going to be one of those, "for $100 more you can get the altos that have been proven for years" kind of things?
i understans some people might not like what mike L posted... but mike would not just make up a bunch of b.s. Mike is an upfront honest man. people call mike and ask for tech advice and he helps people even if they never bought anything from him...
This is the main reason DTS does not post on this forum! Sad to because David is very smart when it comes to this Duramax/Allison game! I believe they are the shop to take the Allison to the next level.
Thanks for the input on the new clutches, too bad you had to stay quiet about it due to this type of response.

What's wrong with questioning results and test methods?
Call Cris horbach at Raybestos and ask him if I'm correct.
Absolutely nothing. Just came off cocky,
Then make the call, tell us your results...

If you have ever met Mike or talked to him you'd find out that he's straight out and doesn't hold back or beat around the bush. He's also very honest too and if there's something cheaper that will work just as good he'll point you in that direction and tell you take your wife to dinner with what you just saved.
No why would I call them Obviously if it takes less pressure to keep them from slipping, the clutches are grabbing better by themselves. You should make the call and tell us your results...
Listen champ...Mike did my transmission 95,000 ago...I don't know what clutches, nor do I care....Get it???
