Can't wait to see what one of these Stg2R's is like in comparison to the other 3. By the way Shields, you need to call and get on the schedule for the trans, and while it's out.....

Btw Dustin do you remember an 07 lbz crew with 100s and a stroker pump? Dark grey, guy named Jonathan owned it? A good friend of mine owns it now he's in his 60s lol

Left is BMW3794, then the same turbo that is on the truck you mentioned, then the 68mm Stg2R, then the 72mm billet.

It's unfortunate for Jonathan that he had to let the truck go to buy or build a house, he still misses it. We did the turbo, 100 overs, 10mm stroker, tuning, and a few other things on the truck. The truck was really starting to dominate stock class then he sold it.

I run mine even lower, but I re-wrote my TCM to tune to keep it in 2nd and locked up until 8mph on decel in T/H mode. I get a lot more help coming to a stop sign than I thought that I would. If I wind up doing a slow roll and not a full stop, I can always pull 1st gear on the tap shifter to avoid a situation where I'm bogging down the truck trying to take off again.:thumb:

1400 gets me below the downshift point when coming to a stop.. TCC engaged/disengaged at 11mph.. Problem I have is OEM TC is so loose (IMO) TCC won't engage on part throttle acc till 30mph basically 3rd when the truck is loaded, when starting out going up a grade.. I have always been under the impression the TCM won't engage TCC when there is more than 750rpm difference between engine rpm and input rpm on the transmission. Though I have not found any supporting data to back that up..

Louisburg, KS for now
I installed a 3794v today on an LMM for guy and it drove great. Very responsive and pulled hard through all the gears. It dropped a little when it shifted into 6th but very minimal. When comparing the stock LMM to the 3794, the 3794 was more responsive and drove great.

Not to mention it sounds good!!:D:woott:

Great job Mark, very nice work!!:thumb::thumb:
