It's been reported that his shipment has been delivered & his truck has been hauled to A shop in central FL thanks to recommendations from CompD.
Hard deal for sure. What's the beef with machine shop? Like broke or spun bearings? Just curious...
Crankshaft was polshed and balanced. Don't do it right harmonics kill the crank faster.. In short version.. I'm sure others can expound on it
They should have added weight on the crank instead of taking from the balancer. The later cranks with the exception of the lml are light on counterweight. That is why lb7,Lly and now the lml is a viable option for those who do performance builds. Sorry to hear this but that is what I suspected from the video.

I have to agree even though im a duramax fan. I put a trans in a 06 cummins with over 400,000 miles and it was at TRE a couple weeks ago with over 600,000 miles for a trans service. Original everything including the rear end a fuel system!Time to get out of a dmax and in a cummins Adam... hate to say it but think that's what you need to do. Plus with a normal fire cam a broke crank is when not if.
