I recently decided to pull the trigger and build my engine so I don’t push it anymore so I figured I should share it with everyone else.
This is just my toy / shop truck. The only goal I have is I’d like to see 1k hp eventually.
The parts list is Carrillo rods, Mahle race cast pistons 15:1 with valve reliefs ( I wanted Fingers pistons but got a good deal on these new), Socal 9100AF cam, Keyed Crank, Main Studs, Head Studs, Suncoast billet flexplate, ATI damper, Merchant Automotive pushrods, Hamilton Valve springs, Socal rocker studs, Merchant Automotive welded water pump, Melling oil pump keyed, Merchant Automotive motor mounts, Socal billet valve covers, ARP stainless 12pt valve cover bolts, Wcfab triple cp3 kit with Fleece cp3K in the valley and two lbz pumps, Fresh 100% over injectors, SDP s400 install Kit with a Fleece billet S480, Mishimoto Intercooler, Profab Manifolds and up pipes. Im sure I’m forgetting some parts.
I’ve had the engine out of the truck and tore apart for a while now but just took the block and rotating assembly to the machine shop yesterday to go through the block and balance the rotating assembly. Kory is currently doing the tuning but may end up driving it to Fleece and getting it dyno tuned when it’s all said and done. That just depends on if I can get where I want to be on my dyno and Kory’s Tunes. I will add pictures of the process and parts as I go.
