I have every single part, including lots of excess piping, in front of me (except for the turbo) right now. If I had the turbo friday afternoon im very confident I could have had it running by late tonight. Dave/heepjeeps and myself work pretty fast when we have a deadline and have been known to work for 24 hours straight. :D Last time I had my stock turbo off I put the drain gasket on crooked and it leaked when I went to road test it...I was so mad I went into "overdrive" mode and from driving the truck back into the shop to (stock) turbo out and sitting on the bench; just under 50 minutes.

The turbo mount is all set and everything is mocked up "roughly"/tacked in place...we just need to get the turbo so we can fudge everything into the exact precise position, fully weld everything, and we will be good to go.

My truck already has the "tricky" parts done from the old MPI setup, battery relocated, coolant surge tank relocated, oil pan drilled, brace configured, etc...

I think you can do it Ben , If i would have been able to work on mine daily , i could have had it done in 3-4 days working reasonable hours 8-10 a day , 2 days maybe if i worked straight besides sleep and that's including building my own gated pedestal spacer .

I have not had good luck with them. Basicallly they are one and the same. ED buys from Bullseye. Bullseye is no longer a BW dealer they got dumped for some reason. Getting ED to answer the phone is like a minor miracle.

Some times i have had a bit of trouble, its seem you have better luck with getting them in the evening and or by text message!!

Somehow I can see you done with time to spare.

ok!!! FINALLY got ahold of forced inductions! The guy I talked to was very nice and helped me right away. They said it was rescheduled delivery due to weather and it should arrive today. :D

ok fine I feel like an ass for getting all mad when I should have just calmed down and realized it was probably the weather....but I was just stressed about getting it done fast... crawling in hole...

Yeah pretty important piece of the puzzle for the building... Especially since you have EVERY freaking peice you need. Seriously there can't be a piece missing.

ok the turbo is here now. :)

wow its 'decent' sized. 3.2" inducer.

I cant really work on it too much today because I have projects due for customers, but I will try to get done what I can.

Im going to re-locate the fuel filter. Where is a good place to get 1/2" fuel line for lengthening the fuel lines going in and out of the filter? Advance Auto looked at me crosseyed and said "are you sure its 1/2" ID, thats the inside diameter, not the overall diameter...fuel line is a lot smaller than 1/2" ID"

yeah thanks I know...

Can 7/16" be squeezed on? Will heater hose hold up to diesel??

can you get it locally? NAPA has 1/2" fuel line, but its for gas...would it also hold up to diesel I wonder...?
