I thought most were just removing the one battery on the p/s.
If it was me, I would get a gel battery and mount it on it's side under the cab in a good sealed box. But I have some pretty cold winter starts where I am. Those in the warmer climates likely can get away with just one.

I want to keep my second battery. I go up to the mountains once in a while. It gets cold up there in the winter. I am going to have to figure something out.

there is a gm battery tray from the dmax vans that fits good on the passenger side frame, ask nathan about them; he will give you part #s

Is that the same one the DoD have on the trucks they have it is just under the passenger door or something.

The P# is somewhere on here I know I have seen it as I was looking at running 3 batteries at one point and I still might one day.

I believe this is the part # 15041310

its an OEM part off of the LSSV dmax's.

Wasn't part of my kit, but I got one because I asked for it. It may have changed since I got mine, but since Turk got his just a few weeks ago, it doesn't sound like it has.
