getting close now , other than i put the intake manifolds on wrong and have to flip them  , oh well easy fix and at least i noticed now . Still have abit before its done i wont drop the motor untill i get my new twins but really all i have left is accessories , wiring , and fuel lines and such .

Pics arent the best quality , cell phone is way easier than breaking out the camera .
after seeing pics of green engines.... Newly's purple engine is starting to look good;)

Not sure why it matters to you what color my motors are. I like the color, but your are entitled to your opinion I guess but there are a lot of parts to go on still that will tie it all together , got any pics of your motor since it is obviously better looking than mine or Newlys ?

No biggie , I must have taken it the wrong way .

Whats that color called? Is it a can paint?

I like it also. :thumb:
The color is called "Candy Apple green", and has like a gold metalic in it with a actual clear coat that is powder , and kinda changes color depending on the light . It is not a paint it is a powder coat .

trent sorry if I missed it somewhere earlier in the thread, but are you powdercoating these things yourself? Or are you taking them to some place?

A local company " twisted Fabrication " is coating everything for me . The guy has a oven big enough to pull my whole truck into it  , he has done a great job , and has taken alot of care with the delicate things like the valve covers that cant be sand blasted .

ya tell me about it :-( Spent probably 20 hours between two of us cleaning sand out of oil pans, valve covers.... it sucked ass, and still ended up with a little showing up in the first couple filters of my BRAND NEW MOTOR.

still waiting for it to come back and haunt me. i will NEVER do it again.
