on the low tunes I can't tell a difference between the 60 overs and stock, they drive that nice. But my turbo kit is starving for fuel which makes me want 100 overs at least

Im hoping with tuning and the turbo set up that E.D. is putting together for me the 100's will be fine on lower settings. Now that i decided to port the heads and I've got the mahle pistons with reliefs... Ive been thinking about a cam. Not sure if id need it or not. But the added lift and duration sure cant hurt airflow!

I mainly went with 100's for uber low timing/duration, and I don't drive the truck much on the street. If I was gunna drive it normally I would have gone 45-60

If you have the valve reliefs and ported head i would definitely suggest a cam. And as far as injectors go, my exergy 60 overs run like stock when they are on the small tune and have plenty of flow for the big tunes. I'd be curious to see how clean the 100s would run with good tuning though

i agree, go with 60s. that is what i DD'ed in my black truck and they were perfect! could run 11.6-11.7 on 1900-2000uS and it was clean as hell.

100s are getting pretty big for a DD IMO.

Thanks for the input. Truck isnt a DD. It will get driven on the street.. but its not a DD. Its just going to be a toy... get it out and beat on some of these cummins and Dmax's that think they are fast, take it the local drag strip here or there and maybe hook it at a local pull once in a while.

Then I would go 100 overs if it is a toy. I have 0 smoke even on my hot tune unless I tromp it at idle, then by 1800 RPM it is 100% clean. Maybe I got on the small side 60 overs, but they don't touch what this turbo kit can do (flows more than a 483/366 so that might be it too). I'm going to try the 100 overs, but make sure they are a good brand and not a 120+ over called a 100 over. We shall see, it might be a while before I go to them.
I really don't see 100 overs being too much fuel for that turbo setup that you want to go with, might lose some street manners but shouldn't be bad with smart tuning if they are good sticks
For those wondering, I got my injectors from a guy ATP uses, they have been great so far, 25K miles on them and still a 1.8 max out of balance on them

Thanks for the info. Ill be going with exergy when i order my injectors. As far as turbo's go, I'm working with Engineered Diesel on them. He is going to build me something that matches the air flow of the heads, cam and the fueling ill have. He hasnt said exactly what size the turbo's will be. I am for sure going with 100% exergy's and dual cp3's. What kind of injector size and hp levels can dual stock cp3's support?

doing redneck math, 100% over would be like stock injectors on a single CP3 (I'm sure there are some variances that make this not 100% true) so I would think 120 over should be no issue at all, even 150 over if you don't push them too hard

I can see no issues at a normal hot tune uS for 100 overs

I only have 60 overs, but I'm sure the guys with 100 overs can chime in if I'm wrong

Ok... Who wants to talk cams... Like which one would work best for my build. If needed ill type out a list of everything ive got.
