I read somewhere (can't find where now) that they drove it across the scale right after they backed up the new record, and it weighed, I think it was, 6220 with the driver.

Thanks everyone. The truck was an empty shell a week ago Saturday. Nathan had done a ton of work before I got involved.

The track would not let us each run a different class, so we flipped a coin and I was lucky enough to get to drive it the first event. Nathan will drive it the next event and surely will break the record as the truck is just getting started.

The 60' times were in the 1.7's and I had to drive it through tire spin almost to the 1/8 mile. There is a bunch of ET sitting on the table with just traction.

They took the truck to a certified scale because of the national record and it weighed in at 6220 lbs.

6220lbs. GEEZUS, thats a heavy single cab! That rollcage must weigh a ton.

Rob...what kind of lights were you busting? Your "normal" .000-.005?

Wounder what rim you could use, Would be nice to run the stock PYO's.

Thanks Guy, a lot of your parts in this truck. Not sure if you heard, fired it ujp on the trailer and blew the seal on the oil filter. Cold oil, new oil pump, have to ck it out. Rob said he only hand tighten the filter, we'll plug it in and warm it a bit next time.
