No we ran on Nitto Drag radials, 18" rims, think they are 29" in diameter. The truck won't fit on the trailer with the race tires. These are the worn out rags that were on the truck when I bought it in Missouri. Wonder what that old farmer who I bought it from would think if it now?:D

Actually the truck wasn't totally finished until the morning it went down the track. It fired the first time on Wed. or Thurs.

The run was on Nitto Drag Radials.

The picture is of me on the left, Rob in the middle, and Ken (Subman) on the right.

Thanks Ken and Nathan. Always nice to put names to faces. Congrats to all three of you!
Thats insane that you only fired it up earlier in the week. Nitto's make more sense...didnt think you were THAT crazy.

Once again, congrats to you all. I'm glad all the hard work, time, and money paid off for you. Can't be disappointed about winning both classes you entered, hitting 10s, and setting records the first time out. I'm sure it'll be no time and you guys will be running 9s.

Your right Trent, this truck has been in the works over 2 years. I bought it in Missouri in the end of Oct 2006. It got the cage, spool, e-locker and front end work in early 2007. Had a ton of trouble finding the builder we wanted, then the question about what pistons to use put us on hold for quite a while while that got worked out. I picked up both built engines from our builder in late October 2008. For all practical purposes the truck was built in the last 3 weeks, intense the last 2. We pretty much had all the pieces, and then rented a shop. Rob and his team from Idaho Diesel Power really went to work less than 2 weeks ago. Totally amazing when you think of it. It had never been over about 50 miles an hour or had ran a total of no more than an hour before they showed up at Woodburn on Sat morning after leaving from Boise about midnight driving all night. Nathan put the exhaust on it at the last day and he and Rob worked on it all Sat morning at the track before we got any runs in starting about noon.
