Look at Ken's list. LB7s and LBZs dominate it. There are only 8 LLYs on it.

Back on the old stock list, there were only 4 LLYs, and that list was also dominated by LB7s and LBZs.

Take that for what its worth.....;)

Hands down my LLY was a dick but it was one tough whipping post. Power wise it was more gutless than others just because it was, but it made it 60k miles with blown HG's and 40+k with shot injectors, Two of my buddies had built tranny LLY's with NO HEADSTUDS, and raped em daily, Don't get it but they took it better than mine. I won't comment on an LB7, **** their injector placement, hated wrenching on the LLY as it was. MY LMM, I can't hurt it, I'm guessing it's gonna play tough guy til a piston lets go or the cranks breaks.

In stock form, LB7 over LLY all day long. When you start to mod heavily, the LLY is easier to work on imo.

Hopefully my turbo is ready for me to pick up tomorrow so I can slap it on and compression check it. I checked it back in may after my first 730 horse dyno pull and they were all at 380 psi and above. Its seen alot of abuse since then so I am actually curious myself.

Motor is coming out this winter too so we will get to see if any rods went bananas on me:D

Man, everyone hating on the LLY! If I had to do it over, I'd still buy the LLY. Love me some turbo brake :D

Of course, if I had the money I'd buy an LBZ

I put the dual cp3's on back in april.. it has never been off the 750 horse tune since and i promise I abuse it. I have 30% injectors.

Not to be a dick but your times don't back up the dyno pulls. Even then, on those rods it would be foolish to think that yours are a miracle set that would hold those numbers repeatedly.

I would guess you to be around 620rwhp, which is much more doable on a stock motor. :thumb:

Why is there 6 pages on this topic?? You guys are tripping me out!! Lol

If both trucks are a stock trans, tune only then it's going to depend on who's limps first or who's cp3 is the healthiest. Rare to find either with low miles, so wear is a factor.

lbz or LMM all the way!!! :D:hug:
