I'm in a LMM but I basically cut the lower half of the inner fender and used a sawsall on my body steel that was in the way (maybe a 5lbs sledge in a spot or 2). Front edge of my plastic bumper cap had to be trimmed too.

I still have rubbing issues, have to be careful turning into elevation changes like driveway ramps or businesses.

So what other tire are you guys running in the 305/50 ?? I'm currently running 420's on the 2" drop shackles and lowered t bars, but they are about shot. I'm looking at putting new tires on before winter/hunting season, and wanted to go with something that has a little more off road traction as I spend a good bit of time in the woods and on farm lanes. 420's just dont look to have much sloppy traction capabilities.

I ran Cooper Zeon LTZs in a 305/50R20. Now I'm running Nitto Terra Grapplers in a 285/55R20. I couldn't get any kind of tread wear out of either of the 305s (I also ran the 420S in that size). I'm hoping the 285s hold up a little better.

Not same size but I have had good luck with dune grapplers. I plow and go up to hunting camp with them and hook really nice on street and pulling

I'm only avg about 30k on a set of 305/50r20 cooper zeon. Love the tire, even towed nicely considering the load rating at 55psi

I just put on a set of 420s in the same size. They were quite a bit cheaper. only had them on for a day so I can't really comment yet.

Well, started on the GMC lowering it. FWIW stock height silver bilsteins will not work with a 3" drop shackle and no overload. The rear end of my truck is currently sitting on the drivers shock fully collapsed; passenger side still has about 4-5" of stroke left. Need to order those rancho's next week.

Brian,

I know its been a few months. Did you ever get those Rancho's ordered and installed? Or has this been put on hold also?

I have done research with the Rancho 9000xl's and even emailed Rancho about it and they said all the 9000xl's are the same, just a matter of the mounts and length's. I have the part numbers that should work for the amount of drop length compared to stock height ones if anyone is interested. I honestly dont know how they are going to fit simply because Im not home yet from deployment to put mine on. If anyone wants these part numbers and wants to do it now vs waiting for me to get home in 2 months to put them on and then review about them, thats fine and I'll post the part numbers of them.

I ordered the 2" shorter KYB shock, supposed to be delivered this next week sometime.

I justt ordered 1 shorter KYB because the only shock that will bottom out is the drivers. Passenger still has about 6" of travel left. was like 53 bucks shipped ill get the P/N.

So what is the part number for RS999262 in a non adjustable series? THe salt here in Alberta will just make the adjuster cease and be useless. I am thinking 5000 or 7000 series. I only have about a inch of travel right now on the rear shocks and it is killing me! LOL
