Those couplers mesh very well with the paint color and look awesome.

Thanks, I think so to, I haven't seen many trucks with them, but the one truck I saw and I don't know if he's on here (Kyle Rasmussen) looks awesome, it's silver birch and looks good, they almost match my truck. I've had black and black/machined and thought it was time for a little change.

That's just a 3" shackle and overloads removed? What about in the front? Torsion bar bolts removed?

It looks great.

Thanks! yep just 3" shackles with OLs removed..I did put 4* shims in while I had the leafs up..torsion bolts are turned down about 1/4" lower than rear, I couldn't go all the way out because it "floated" around too bad so I raised it back up a little..

I had to put mine back to 2" in the rear and my front is still too high. Need to do lowering keys I guess.

lose the overloads for an extra 1"

My overloads are gone and I have 3" shackles in the 2" hole. The front is close but still a tad high. Here's a before/after.

On a side note, it rides better than it has in a long time. :thumb:

Really contemplating lowering with different wheels. I dont tow heavy oftern and no more than a car and an aluminum fishing boat. The thing is I know nothing about lowering. I have cut coil springs on a extreme once but these are a different breed to me.

Whatever you do, don't cut your torsion bars:roflmao: Seriously, how low do you want to go? Once you decide, it's easy to answer your question with some options.

Do 3" drop shackles and remove the overload in the rear. You can do 3" drop lower control arms in the front and if you want more later on, add some drop spindles as well.

I just leveled the truck with 2" keys and blocks too lol. Im worse than a woman. Why do people use stock keys and remove bolts? Doesnt this make for a bouncy ride?

The torsion bar key either sits on the bolt or sits all the way down on the threaded block where the bolt goes so either way its sitting on a fixed surface.
