Is that a serious question? I had my local tire place mount 17" 420s on 8 lug wheels, the guy gave me a little greif until I explained what i was doing. The 20" nitto 420s have a 3086lb load rating. I wouldn't think this would even rasie an eye brow at most tire shops

It does, I've had shops straight refuse to sell and mount tires for me.

With the amout of 420s stretched and all kind of nonsense i see on a daily basis it appears anywhere would mount just about anything, so c20elephant i recommend speaking with your local tire shop it has worked well for me. Not sure if it made a difference but i took them the tires and the wheels in the bed of the truck and they left in the bed of the truck

So maybe the key was bringing them in separate, they didnt ask and i didnt tell, well actually they did ask and i did tell but since it didn't roll out the door on them maybe that absolved them of any negligence

Exactly, they don't take the liability if they don't bolt them to the truck. You should have seen the face of the guy when I brought him some 8 lug wheels with tubes and slicks to mount:roflmao:

I was looking for some F or G rated tires for my elephant years ago and found the right size tire. Problem is the F & G rated tires have a maximum pressure of 100psi, the DOT-T wheel on the 82 C20 is rated for a maximum of 80 psi, needless to say the tire shop could not legally mount them due to liability.

Hell, I've been turned down by two tire shops when I asked them to mount D rated tires to 8 lug wheels...and they weren't even on the truck!

And they were only snow tires!

What's the offset?
I honestly don't know, for some reason I think its 0, I may be wrong. The guy I ordered them from sells allot of wheels to customers with trucks set up like mine so I just trusted him to get me what would work best. To find out I measure from the hub face to the outside and then to the inside and see if there is a difference?
