Yes he did. The Cam and Crank sensors themselves where swapped.

The harnesses/plugs can be swaped by accident aswell.. I just had my crank position sensor go bad inbetween motors some how

We saw 20K for rail once we tired the cam and crqank senors each way some time we get the code others we don't. We put in a newer cam senor from a diff motor.

Any other ideas? Could the cam senor part of the wire harness be bad? That is the only thing we have not tired....

Ok we check the cam senor plug and it is only getting 5 volts. What could be causing this? Should I start chasing back the wiring harness?

Ok guess it should only be getting 5 volts but the crank senor was getting 12. Not sure what else there is we can do. Talked with Tony B last night he couldn't thing of anything. Dustin talked with Brayden not sure if he came up with anything. Couldn't get ahold of Guy. Just not sure what to do... Like smoke comes out the exhaust so it is trying to start.

20 k is to much.

Bad regulator?

When starting is your rpm out of range? Like really high?

Checked all the plugs they are all pluged in. I think the 20k was from having the reg unpluged due to now rail presure. The rest of the time it was like 3k. When starting it sayin rpm is only like 180 but it sounds like it is spinning faster. We also took a test light to the cam senor and it would flash when trying to turn over so it is getting a signal and the ground and hot wire both are good.

Here are a couple of things to try.

Check to make sure the CP3 return line and feed line aren't mixed up.

Also are all 4 grounds hooked up and cables are ok? Battery voltage is above 12.5volts before you start cranking? No loose pins in bale connector? Fuel supply is good and filter is tight and primed with fuel?

Fuel system is good no longer a problem. Need to check the ECU to make sure the cam senor is pluged in there all the way but not sure which pin it is. Guess I could just check them all

man this sucks i feel for ya all injectors show there firing? not sure what thee hell else gotta be something totally stupid an easy just being over looked have you tried just flahsing in a stock tune??? checked that out for kicks an giggles?

Yea we are gonna flash it back to stock and then the pins for the cam senor. Can't think of anything else.
